Today the BRUS brewers transferred beer from one of our two foeders to a bright tank for conditioning and kegging. This beer is a rebrew of the first (non-commercial) To Øl Goliat beer competing in the Danish Craft Beer Championship back in the days. 18 months ago the brewers at BRUS gave it a go and put it to age in one of our French Foeder Oak Barrels. Now, one and a half year later, the guys are kegging the 9,6% Imperial Coffee Oatmeal Stout – Goliat Barrel Aged.
Goliat will be available during this year’s Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018 and at the BRUS birthday party on May 17th.
The second Foeder is filled with a Foudre Aged Saison blended with Mirabelle Plums and Seabuckthorns. This sour funky tasty treat will also be released for this year’s MBCC and during our BRUS Birthday Party in May!
