It’s that time of year again: it’s fresh hop season, baby! 🍻

We’ve got something special in the works for you – a limited run To Øl x Hopfengut Fresh-hop beer.

What is fresh hop beer, you ask? 🌿

Made with freshly harvested, undried hop cones, fresh hop beer captures the late summer, early autumunal essence. Tettnang, perched above Lake Constance, is Germany’s small hop heart. Farmers have grown hops since at least the 12th century, but the region truly blossomed in the mid-19th century. When the vines come down, they set the stage for the regions’ most fleeting tradition: Grünhopfenbier – Fresh-hop beer.

Together with our friends at Hopfengut, we hand-selected two varieties at peak: Mandarina Bavaria (bright citrus, clean resin line) and Callista (delicate stone fruit, florals, a small berry echo), which you’ll get the chance to enjoy at our brew release party!

What to expect in the glass? A fresh-hop beer that’s light, bright, and full of character—garden-green aroma, blossoms, a touch of citrus and stone fruit, with a slight bitterness.
